PIE Gelato Hero app for iPhone and iPad

One too many complaints…everyone said the meatballs from the school cafeteria tasted awful! The lunch ladies have had enough – they are on a rampage throwing meatballs at everyone in the school. One lone hero, powered by delicious gelato, stands up to the meatball slingers! The hero collects gelato containers and shoots gelato at the lunch ladies to let them know what good food tastes like!

Gelato Hero was designed by 6th grade Math students at Cincinnati Public School’s Kilgour Elementary. Student staff of Northern Kentucky University’s Center for Applied Informatics developed the game. The app was facilitated by the Partnership for Innovation in Education (PIE) for an innovative program applying Science and Math concepts. Purchasing this app can help fund future projects.
